This was the best I could get today:)  As most of you know we are on our way to Olivia's country in less than 24 hrs!  There are honestly no words that could describe how I feel today...  Keep us in your prayers and I will see you all on the other side of the world:)

Officially less than a week now!!!!

Sorry our countdown picture took a little longer today...  We're busy getting ready for our trip:)  Can't believe I can actually say that now!!!!!!!!!!

Okay peeps....  7 days........ That's, 160 hours, 10,080 minutes or 604,800 seconds.  However you want to calculate it, very, very soon Olivia will forget what it feels like to be alone.....

My model wasn't in to it this morning:)  In case you can't read sideways.....  8 MORE DAYS UNTIL OUR LIVES WILL BE FOREVER CHANGED IN WAYS I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO IMAGINE!!!

This countdown is JUST the days we have until we get to hold our sweet girl.   We are advised not to say the exact day that we are traveling but lets just say its in LESS THAN A WEEK:)

Countdown continues!!

Words could NEVER even begin to explain the complete joy in my soul today!  We have booked our flights!!!  It's real now!  The tiny Angel that has only existed to us in a small picture and a short 30 second video will be in her Mama's arms in 14 days!!!!!  Our family will be complete that day.  Olivia will take her first breath of life.  A new life that is filled with freedom, hope and the love that was meant especially for her beautiful, perfect heart!

Guess what that AWESOME number means!!!!!!!!!!!!  Livvy girl, Mama and Papa are on their way!!!  2 stinkin weeks and you will NEVER, EVER have a day go by without knowing how loved you truly are....

Another "Monday" promise...

You guessed it...  No phone call this morning:(  We now have been told that hey will not be issuing any more dates this week.. Once again, Monday's "the day"...Have to be honest, it's gettin to me a little. I'm trying hard to hold it together but it's getting so difficult fighting that tiny evil man sitting high up on my shoulder.  With each morning that passes without a phone call I feel the strength being sucked out.  Please continue to pray for us and Olivia because we need each other!

The good news is that 3 of the families that were submitted with us got their dates this morning and obviously we can all figure out what the bad news is....    It's okay, nobody likes Mondays anyway!   Who am I kidding?  Every morning is a magical one when you get to wake up next to her!

There's always tomorrow and a full night sleep is overrated anyway so I will climb in bed tonight with my phone attached somehow to my hand, try to actually close my eyes and wait for it to make some kind of noise...

Good News:)

Received news today that we will absolutely be issued our travel dates on Monday or Tuesday!!!!  That definitely jump started my heart!  We will be most likely be in Olivia's country and holding her in less than 2 weeks!!!  Unbelievable......

Good Things Come To Those Who Wait......

This is how Chloe and I feel about having to wait another week to find out when we will finally get to hold our baby girl!

One would think that after waiting 10 months, waiting another week will be a piece of cake.  One was so WRONG!    We literately have our bags packed and  by the door....  We are all dressed up with no where to go... Get where I'm going with this????  WE ARE READY!  Our baby girl needs us and we need her.   There are no words to describe the wave of complete sadness that came over me this morning when my phone didn't ring at the crack of dawn and devastation set in when 7am rolled around and still nothing.  Needless to say that we did receive an email  informing us us that we will be waiting another entire week before we hear when our "invitation" appointment is.  May as well be another 10 months.  Enough whining Beth!  Once I got through my pity party I hugged each one of my kiddos, sent them off to school and sat down and had a serious heart to heart with God!  The whole "It's in God's timing Beth" was not comforting me at all this morning and believe me I heard it from about 50,000 people so I decided to say a little prayer and move along .  I did finally come to grips with the reality that we've got to be patient for a few more weeks. I have faith that the path that was carved out for us long long ago has been precisely mapped out and soon we will be skipping happily along, right through those orphanage gates!!!  


So, I guess I can wait. but it certainly it wont be patiently and I guarantee I will have more than one day this week when I feel a little like this...

So keep those prayers coming.  They are honestly a lifeline...
